Mission Summary
The crew of the U.S.S. Cychreides receives a sudden call to arms. They are to disembark to the Chin’toka system and receive their orders there.
The ship has not finished the retrofit, so for the first part of the way its engineering crews are working to bring the main deck to full functionality.
A round of promotions shapes the new senior stuff and new additions to the crew come aboard.
At AR-558, Chin’toka system, Admiral of Starfleet intelligence z'Alundi gives orders to go into the Breen space and search for U.S.S. Chiron, that has gone missing during a covert mission.
She unveils a new Starfleet cloacking technology (Indirect Dampening Field System - IDFS) that has been installed on the Cychreides and will enable it to penetrate deep into Breen territory, undetected.
A new senior officer is attached to the crew to head the intelligence department.
Upon reaching Breen space, some of the crew transfers to the upper vector, disconnects from the main body and engages the IDFS.
At Aspet system, the last know whereabouts of the U.S.S. Chiron, the Breen is engaged in battle with the Tholians.
The Cychreides goes deep into the asteroid field to search for the lost ship and finds it surrounded by 6 Tholian vessels.
The Tholians beam aboard the Chiron, which leaves the crew of the Cychreides no choice but to destroy or disable them all and get ready to beam to the captured ship and retake it!
